Hoooray! I won this for the first film I shot for this year's Providence 48Hr film project. The film is entitled 'Drama' and can be watched on the About page.

The experience was quite unique - with all the shooting done in front of a projection screen in Frank Difficult's downtown studio. Effectively, we could change set just by switching the image projected on the screen. Also, because we were shooting on the friday of the weekend, there wasn't the time to complete a script. Instead, the acting was mostly improvisation, with Frank guiding Connie and I in the general direction he wanted. The details of the conversation were added in the subtitles... successful 48 HR corner cutting!  We worked into the wee hours of the morning on the friday night of the film project weekend. Working with Frank was a dream - it felt more like play rather than work, which is I think ultimately one of the reasons I am drawn to acting - It's so fun!

Can't wait to work with Frank again - we are currently looking into him scripting me a role into a web-series he is working on - if all goes ahead, it should be a substantial commitment in the next few upcoming months. Stay tuned for updates.
